In celebration of Salford City Council’s £20 million partnership with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, leading advertising agency Creative Spark was commissioned to bring music to the people through a series of eye-catching images. In response to the brief to capture the harmonious new partnership between Salford and the Philharmonic, Creative Spark produced photographs depicting members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra playing to the people of Salford going about their everyday lives, demonstrating the community work that the orchestra will undertake in the city. The images show musicians playing against a backdrop of iconic Salford landscapes such as the site of the new mediacity:uk at Salford Quays.
