The Vegetarian Society offers support and advice to those who are considering becoming Vegetarian, whilst supporting vegetarianism through promotion and validation of relevant products via the Vegetarian Society approved trademark. To further support on-going work Vegetarian Week is an annual awareness campaign organised by the society encouraging vegetarians and non-vegetarians to celebrate this alternative to meat.
The brief to us was to produce creative ideas that…
a) Put delicious vegetarian food at the heart of the campaign
b) Inspire people to consider becoming a vegetarian or at the very least to try a vegetarian dish
c) Encourage people to get involved and host events
d) Showcase the week long celebration as a fun activity and which is engaging and inclusive – not preachy! Vegetarian Week is intended to be a celebration of food – food, which encompasses all that is great about being a vegetarian.
