Galaxy FM, a division of Global Radio, asked us to address its image and identity. Originally launched as a dance/R&B station, Galaxy wanted to shift and become a more mainstream channel positioning itself as the station for 20-29 year old adults and be seen as the experts on this audience.
Using the classic font Helvetica as our basis, we then manipulated and finessed it to create a completely new, unique design. This logo perfectly communicates the new personality, changing the perception of the brand. Our redesign has helped attract a new audience, increasing the listening figures, which of course means advertising revenue is up too.
