Advertising Campaigns

Manchester Airports Group (M.A.G) is the largest UK-owned airport operator. The Group own three British airports: Bournemouth, East Midlands, and Manchester Airport – the busiest airport outside London.

We successfully pitched to work with M.A.G in April 2012 and since then we’ve produced advertising campaigns that communicate their expansive offering and promotions. Our work together also had to raise awareness of the new M.A.G brand and create a distinctive ‘look’ that stood them apart from other airports. Our initial brief was to promote all the airports in the group as destinations in their own right, their retail offering, and their car parking facilities.

To draw attention to the great savings that can be made at M.A.G airports, we used both on and off line advertising to get our message across. Paper-engineering was used to create a distinct brand style for their communications.

Results across our wide-range of campaign activity included an increase in passenger numbers, an increase in spend per passenger, and also an increase in the number of people using M.A.G car parks. The door drop was distributed to 52k Chester households and achieved an ROI of 1:1.73.
