Salford City Council Music Map

Brief

Salford City Council wanted to showcase the city’s musical heritage – to literally put Salford’s famous musical acheivements firmly on the map. The target markets identified were: music enthusiasts, students, Salford residents and potential and existing visitors to the city.

Solution

We created the Salford Music Map – a visually-rich cardboard collage across the floor of a photography studio. Famous faces and landmarks were all painstakingly positioned, and the whole thing shot to form the image. The finished map will be handed out free during Salford’s musical events taking place later this year.
